2. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you access the website, the hosting systems may process technical connection data such as your IP address, the date and time of access, the requested resource, referrer information, browser and operating-system data, response status, and transferred data volume.

Processing is necessary to deliver the website, maintain system security, and investigate technical faults. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests are the secure, stable, and efficient operation of this website. Log data is deleted when it is no longer required for these purposes, subject to applicable legal retention obligations.

3. Project enquiries and email contact

If you contact us through the enquiry form or by email, we process the data you provide—particularly your name, email address, and project details—to respond to your request and manage the resulting business communication.

Where your enquiry concerns a potential or existing contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other business communication, processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Data is retained for as long as required to handle the enquiry and is then deleted unless contractual or statutory retention obligations apply.

4. Technically necessary session data

The contact form uses limited technical session information to prevent rapid repeated submissions and automated spam. This mechanism is used exclusively for security and is not used for tracking, profiling, or advertising. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; access to information on your device is limited to what is strictly necessary to provide the requested function.

5. Analytics, marketing, and external media

We currently do not use analytics or marketing trackers and do not set non-essential cookies. One video is provided through the embedded player of Vimeo.com, Inc., 330 West 34th Street, 10th Floor, New York, NY 10001, USA. The Vimeo player is not loaded until you actively select the play control. Before that action, no connection to Vimeo is established through the player.

When you activate the video, your browser connects to Vimeo and technical data, including your IP address, device and browser information, and interaction with the player, may be processed by Vimeo and transferred to the United States. The player uses Vimeo’s Do Not Track parameter. According to Vimeo, this prevents new non-essential cookies during the viewing session, although cookies required for the secure operation of the player may still be used. The legal basis for loading the player is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, expressed by activating the video. Further information is available in Vimeo’s Privacy Policy.

The remaining audio and video areas are placeholders and do not connect to streaming platforms or other media providers.

6. Recipients

Personal data may be processed by service providers acting on our behalf, particularly hosting and email providers, where this is necessary to operate the website and answer enquiries. Such providers are engaged under applicable data-protection requirements. Data is otherwise disclosed only where required by law or necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.

7. Your rights

Subject to the statutory conditions, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority. In North Rhine-Westphalia, complaints may be submitted to the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen.
